"When there is a story within it or a specific reason to use it I will happily do a black and white shoot but I dreams in color. When I picture a tree I never picture a grey tree. To take the color away from an image I feel is the same as draining the life from that image, which is the opposite of what I hope to gain from taking a shot. Even when I am shooting an abandon boat washed up on shore my hope is to show that life exist in everything. Everything has a/has had a journey, that journey has a story and that story happened in color. I don't want to take away from that."
